our story
Jittu & Shirley Sarna founded Inkjet International in 1995, with headquarters in Dallas, Texas USA. Inkjet represented the third career for Jittu in 3 different countries and two different continents. Jittu is of Indian heritage, was born and raised in Kenya, and together with his supportive wife of 43 years, Shirley, have two grown children and five grandchildren.
The first business Jittu owned and managed was based in Liberia, West Africa. However, after a coup d’état in 1980, it was clear that a move had to be made. Soon after, the family settled in Toronto, Canada, where Jittu founded a computer distribution business, growing the firm to one of the fastest growing companies in the country. When the opportunity to enter the digital printing business arose, Jittu jumped into it with both feet. At the age of 51, he moved his family to Dallas, Texas. For Jittu, it was a calling to a new city, new country, new business, and one printer. And no regrets.
From humble beginnings, Inkjet has steadily and profitably grown to a respectable position in the marketplace. Today, Inkjet has a range of leading printer equipment that serves the diversified needs of customers both locally and nationally. We provide a wide array of both indoor and outdoor printing services which help brands communicate their message. We also offer design, installation, kitting, fulfillment, and inventory management.
